First Day of Kindergarten

Daniel has been looking forward to this day since the last day of Kinder Bridge in May. I have not been as prepared. Last night we prepared his lunch, read his new First Day of School book from Uncle Jared, Aunt Kendall and Hudson and set out his clothes. He fell asleep quickly and was up early. Jason, Katin and I all took Daniel to school this morning. Katin screamed and had to take his backpack with him. Daniel did great and was ready for us to leave him, mommy cried a little, and Katin asked to go get Daniel as soon as we left our friends at C.hick-f.i-l.a.


Daniel's lunch. He choose the BLT wrap we had a few weeks go, salad veggies, tangerines, grapes, fig newtons and marshmallows.

Katin and I met our friends Mrs. Jordan, Will, Mrs. Kristy and Tyler to have a "boo hoo" breakfast and play. Mrs. Kristy sent her daughter, Trinity, to kindergarten this morning.

    Love the pictures. How was the school day? Chris didn't have much to say, but is ready for about 179 more days.

    It went well. He was wired when he came home. He told me a little bit and I learned a little more when Jason came home. Daniel said he wants to stay home tomorrow, but will go back on Wednesday and Friday. :-)
